Helping Families Safely Reconnect and
Rebuild Relationships

REINTEGRATION THERAPY

Structured, child-centered reintegration therapy for families navigating estrangement, high-conflict separation, and court-involved dynamics in the greater Kansas City area.

At Reintegration Therapy KC, I Understand the Heartbreak of Disconnected Families

As a family therapist, I understand that family estrangement and reunification efforts can carry deep grief, confusion, and emotional pain for everyone involved. Many families come into reintegration therapy feeling exhausted by conflict, loss of connection, and the fear that relationships may never heal.

I recognize the heartbreak parents and children experience when trust has been damaged and communication has broken down over time. My goal is to provide a compassionate, structured, and supportive space where families can begin rebuilding safety, understanding, and meaningful connection.

When a child becomes disconnected...

the path forward can feel overwhelming. Reintegration therapy offers a guided, neutral process focused on restoring safe, healthy relationships at a pace that supports the child’s emotional well-being.

It is a structured process designed to help repair and rebuild a relationship between a child and a parent when there has been distance, conflict, or estrangement.

Helping families safely rebuild and strengthen parent-child relationships following separation or prolonged, high-conflict disputes.

High-Conflict Divorce or Separation

I work with families navigating high-conflict divorce by helping reduce emotional tension, improve communication, and support healthier parent-child relationships. Therapy focuses on creating a structured, child-centered environment where trust, emotional safety, and reconnection can gradually be rebuilt.

Parent-Child Estrangement or Alienation

I help families impacted by parental alienation or estrangement by addressing the breakdown in the parent-child relationship and identifying barriers to healthy connection. The process focuses on restoring communication, rebuilding trust, and supporting the child and family system in a safe, structured, and emotionally supportive way.

Court-Involved Families

I work with court-involved families by providing structured, neutral, and child-focused support during complex family transitions and relational disruptions. Therapy often involves collaboration with parents, attorneys, guardian ad litems, and other professionals to help improve family functioning and support healthier parent-child relationships.
